Where earth meets ocean
Oceandell draws its essence from the wild coasts of Cornwall, where Atlantic clarity, sea mist, stone, and low skies create a rare sense of calm. The brand began with the ambition to translate that feeling into the most intimate room of the home.
The founding gesture
In the early 1990s, London interior architect Alistair Wycliffe began shaping washbasin prototypes with local ceramicists. He rejected cold industrial standards and treated each product as a spatial gesture: quiet, monolithic, and deeply tactile.
The design anchor
In 2004, Oceandell structured its identity and established its creative center in London. Today, the studio develops collections that merge rigorous minimalism, cosmopolitan restraint, and the founding philosophy of serenity.
Timeline
1992
First washbasin prototypes are shaped with master ceramicists after months of sketching in Cornwall.
2004
The Oceandell name is registered, merging Ocean and Dell into a language of calm refuge.
2007
WC designs extend the house language beyond basins into complete sanitary ware.
2012
Precision brassware joins the ecosystem, integrating water flow into the architecture.
2015
Mirrors, hooks, rails, and details complete the room with visual coherence.
2017
Oceandell shifts from product catalogue to holistic bathroom atmospheres.

A dedicated taps factory in Italy expands production capacity and international reach.
House signatures
Three quiet principles guide every Oceandell object: clarity of silhouette, controlled detail, and a room that feels composed before it feels decorated.
Wall-hung and floor-standing silhouettes appear carved from a single block, creating a powerful visual anchor.
Fixings and technical elements step back, allowing toilets, basins, and accessories to keep a pure uninterrupted presence.
Brassware and shower systems stage water through clean geometries, silent movement, and lasting tactile precision.
